  field algae analyzer (fluoroprobe III) is a high sensitivity algae classification detection equipment which is suitable for quantitative analysis of chlorophyll and qualitative and quantitative analysis of all kinds of algae in the field. The device can realize the classification and detection of algae, distinguish cyanobacteria (Cyanobacteria), green algae, diatom / dinoflagellate, cryptoalgae and detect their concentrations. The field algal analyzer can not only quickly and reliably determine the algae and their concentrations in real time, but also conduct profile measurement and analysis in depth (up to 1000m), and detect the chlorophyll concentration and algal distribution in different water depths such as lakes, rivers and oceans.
  detection principle
   algae with similar composition of photosynthetic pigments have similar response fluorescence spectra to multiple set wavelengths of excitation light. Because of the existence of characteristic pigments, the fluorescence spectra of different groups of algae are quite different. According to their respective characteristic spectra and intensity, algae are classified and the concentration of various algae is quantitatively detected.
